The Concept Round, for agencies

Your client picksa direction they watched.

Send the brief you already wrote. Tabario returns six directions, each a different argument, built into video. Refine the ones you believe in, then put them in front of your client before the production budget goes on the one they imagined.

LinkedIn and Instagram. Human judgement at every step.

The Concept Round

Not "is this good?". "Which one?"

Each direction makes a different argument, with its own hook and script. Compare the thinking, choose which ones to build, and the question in the room changes from approval to choice.

Explore the angles

Start with six directions and their scripts, written from your brief for each platform you chose.

02

Make them your own

Build one direction at a time. Adjust the storyboard and review the assembled edit in Studio.

03

Put them in front of the client

Export the directions you stand behind. Your client watches and chooses, outside Tabario, and that pick closes the round.

*When a brief supports fewer than six distinct directions, the round explains why. It never pads the set.

Why video

They're watching the thing.

The worst part of the job is the twenty minutes after you send the finished video, waiting to hear whether it was what they had in mind. The round exists to remove them.

  • Real video, not storyboards. So your client picks one instead of critiquing one.
  • A deck, a script and a static storyboard are all descriptions. Two people reading the same description imagine two different films, and when the finished cut is not what the client approved, they are telling the truth.
  • The output is a finished, publishable file. That is the whole reason the choice means something. Your client is not reading a description and imagining the rest.
  • The client never sees Tabario. They see the videos you chose to export, one per direction you stand behind, and they decide which direction the campaign takes. Publishing is your decision, not the tool's.

Room to experiment

Try another edit. Keep the one you liked.

Rebuild as a new version and keep the previous one within reach. Compare what changed, revisit an earlier cut, and keep refining until you're happy with it.

One idea. Its own cut for each platform.

LinkedIn and Instagram each get their own script, storyboard and edit. Build and refine each cut independently, in the format set by your brief.

A little more detail

Good questions.

What is a direction?

A direction is a different argument for why the buyer should care, with its own name, rationale, hook and script. It is not a re-edit of one video and not a platform accent on one idea. The app calls each one a route, after the tissue meeting, where rough directions are shown on tracing paper before anything is finished. The Concept Round is that meeting, compressed, with video in place of paper.

How many directions does a brief get?

Six. Fewer than that is a designed state, not an error: when a brief supports fewer, Tabario delivers fewer and names the brief field that was thin, in the agency's language, rather than padding the round.

Which platforms does Tabario build for?

LinkedIn and Instagram. Every direction is written for every platform in the brief, and each platform's cut is built on its own, with its own storyboard, its own version history and its own export.

What happens when my client picks one?

You record the pick, and that commit closes the round. Before you confirm, Tabario states how many other directions close and on which platforms. The others stay watchable in an archive with every production action removed, so you can always show what was on the table, and a new pick is a new round.

What is a version?

Every direction and platform pair keeps a linear history. Rebuilding from v2 produces v5, and v3 and v4 stay readable. Exactly one version is current: a finished rebuild takes over, and Make current pins an older one back in one action, deleting nothing. Each version says what changed against the one before it and what it cost.

What does it cost?

The pilot has a USD 99 entry fee, invoiced after selection. After the pilot, Tabario is a monthly subscription in two tiers. The pricing page has the numbers.
